Meet Dr. Joshua Knapton
Dr. Knapton brings both personal experience and professional expertise to his practice. Born in Utah, he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from Utah Valley University before earning his dual DMD and MBA from Roseman University of Health Sciences.
Dr. Knapton’s journey toward holistic dentistry began with his own health struggles. After experiencing severe hand cracking and bleeding that conventional treatments couldn’t resolve, he found relief through NAET. This experience caused him to think critically about the body’s relationship and connection with the world we live in. While in dental school, he learned the conventional approach to dentistry but was not finding the answers to solving the causes of disease, instead of simply treating the symptoms. These personal experiences inspired him to research and become certified in these techniques so he could offer similar relief to his patients. His children also experienced dramatic improvements in skin conditions after NAET treatment, further cementing his belief in this approach.
As an active member of the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology (IAOMT) and the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), Dr. Knapton stays at the forefront of biological dentistry. He is also certified in BioClear restorations, offering patients beautiful, minimally invasive options for dental repairs.
Dr. Knapton fell in love with the Ozarks after dental school, following where he and his family felt called to establish roots. When not caring for patients, he enjoys spending time with his family, going for walks, swimming, or traveling. He’s also an avid sports fan who cheers for the Chiefs and Cardinals.
